Susmit Singha Roy

Susmit Singha Roy is a seasoned Semiconductor Technologist currently serving as a Senior Manager in Materials and Process Engineering at Applied Materials, where they lead an R&D team focused on novel materials and processes for next-generation CPU and Memory devices. Previously, Susmit held various engineering roles at the same company, where they developed advanced deposition techniques and engineered materials solutions for leading chip manufacturers. They possess a Ph.D. in Materials Science and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they also contributed as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant, authoring multiple articles in high-impact journals. Susmit earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
