Swetha Barkam

Swetha Barkam is a Global Product Manager at Applied Materials since May 2023, following a tenure at Micron Technology from July 2017 to February 2023, where Swetha served as Product Manager for the Mobile Business Unit, managing P&L for four low power DRAM technologies and achieving financial targets through strategic go-to-market initiatives. Prior experience includes leading a cross-functional team as a Senior Process Development Engineer, focusing on yield improvement and stakeholder communication, and serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida, where Swetha published 14 journal papers and received multiple awards for research excellence. Swetha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from the University of Central Florida.
