Taewan Kim is a scientist with extensive experience in engineering and research. They began their career as a Senior Engineer at Samsung Corning Co., LTD from 1999 to 2004, then advanced to Engineering Manager at Samsung SDI Co., LTD between 2004 and 2006. Following their time as a Graduate Student Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at UC San Diego from 2007 to 2012, Taewan joined Applied Materials, where they currently serve as a Technical Staff Engineer. They hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry from POSTECH and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
