Tim Thomas is a retired Sr. Director of Engineering with extensive expertise in optical and laser system design and product development. They led several high-precision opto-mechanical projects and contributed significantly to the development of laser microlithography systems during their tenure at Etec and also served as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies at PDX Photonics. Additionally, Tim held technical leadership roles at Applied Materials and GIA, focusing on the design and implementation of advanced optical systems for various global laboratories. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology.
