Tony Thomas

Tony Thomas is a Product Quality and Reliability Engineer at Applied Materials since May 2022, with extensive research experience in reliability analysis and testing methodologies. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University from August 2016 to April 2022, where significant work was conducted on the reliability of solder materials and acceleration factor modeling for flexible electronics. Tony contributed to various projects involving prognostic health management and experimental investigations using advanced techniques such as statistical analysis, data reduction, and failure mode effect analysis. Prior academic positions include Lecturer at NIT Calicut and Graduate Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, along with earlier roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Tony holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and a Master's degree in CAD/CAM & Robotics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
