Wei Liu

Wei Liu is a Senior Director of PMTS at Applied Materials, where they have worked since 1997, holding various positions that involved semiconductor process technology and hardware design, culminating in 57 US patents. Their extensive expertise includes plasma and thermal treatment, surface engineering, and high k metal gate stack integration. Wei earned a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Xiamen University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of British Columbia, along with an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Toronto focused on surface reaction dynamics. Currently, Wei continues to advance innovations in their field at Applied Materials.
