William Weaver

William (Ty) Weaver is the Sr. Director of Engineering and Austin Site Manager at Varian Semiconductor Division of Applied Materials, where they manage a team of 25 engineers focused on new product development. With 21 years of experience in the semiconductor and solar industries, Ty has expertise in precision machine design, automation, systems engineering, and facility management. They began their career at Applied Materials, where they held various roles including engineering manager and program manager before joining Varian Semiconductor. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
