Xing Chen

Xing Chen is a seasoned professional in technical program and product management, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Applied Materials since May 2017, where focus areas include technical program management and technology/business development in neuromorphic computing, new memory, and power devices. Prior to this, Xing was Group Leader and Applications Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory, where a multi-million dollar advanced material research program was developed, resulting in significant applications and numerous patents. Educational credentials include a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Delaware, along with ongoing certificate programs in Program Management and System Engineering at Caltech. Early research experience includes positions at the University of Delaware and the University of Science and Technology of China, contributing to various innovative projects in material science and physics.
