Yi Xu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Sr Manager and Process Engineer at Applied Materials since July 2014. With a background that includes roles such as Manager and Senior Process Engineer, Yi has developed expertise in process engineering. Prior to this, Yi worked as a Graduate Assistant at Rutgers University from September 2007 to June 2014, focusing on semiconductor surface and interface studies, thin film growth and characterization, and ultra-high vacuum system design. Yi also held the position of Teaching Assistant in the Physical Chemistry Lab. Yi Xu holds a Ph.D. in Surface Science, Material Science, and Chemical Physics from Rutgers University, as well as a B.S. in Physical Chemistry from Peking University.
