Benjamin Bacon began their career in 2015 as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder for the United States Air Force. In this role, they conducted host analysis utilizing forensic tools, identified IOCs, and scoped the enterprise for additional occurrences. Benjamin also acted as a Network Security Analyst, triaging aggregated security events from numerous network and host sensors via SIEMs, and used tools like Splunk or Kibana to analyze network connections. Benjamin also served as a Cyber Warfare Operator (Student) and Computer/Electronic Warfare Specialist, and was a member of the Mission Defense Team, where they conducted cyber analysis on air gapped networks of the E-3 Sentry, AWACS. Benjamin also performed maintenance on computer and electronic warfare systems of the E-3 Sentry aircraft and trained new military members on key tasks and safety requirements. In 2022, Benjamin Bacon began working as a Cyber Security Engineer for Applied Network Solutions, Inc.

Benjamin Bacon is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, which they began in 2020 and is expected to finish in 2023.
