Michael Chang

Michael Chang has over 45 years of experience in quality engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer at Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. since February 2008, Michael focuses on corporate quality, product reliability, and compliance initiatives involving Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Prior to this position, Michael worked as a Contract Consultant and Quality Manager at Telco Intercontinental Corp., where responsibilities included technical support for new product evaluations and establishing quality control processes. From June 1977 to March 1996, Michael held various managerial roles at TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd., overseeing research and development, product assurance, and technical operations in the U.S. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Feng Chia University.
