William Wright is a Principal Scientist and Department Manager at Applied Physical Sciences Corp (APS), where they lead a team in developing advanced prototype systems for U.S. Department of Defense research agencies. With extensive experience in software systems, Wright has a strong background in embedded Linux systems and programming across various languages, including C, C++, Python, and Java. Prior to joining APS in 2010, they served as a Senior Principal Investigator at Sparta, focusing on network protocol analysis and software reverse-engineering. From 1992 to 2006, Wright was a Division Engineer at BBN Technologies, where they were instrumental in developing the Boomerang sniper-detection system.
