Cheryl Powell

Cheryl Powell is a mission-driven healthcare innovation executive with over 25 years of experience in optimizing healthcare solutions at the intersection of policy, data-based research, operations, and IT. They have served in various leadership roles, including Director of Medicare Policy at Coventry Health Care and multiple directorships at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Currently, Cheryl is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Boise State University and a Principal Researcher at Mathematica, while also holding the position of Vice President of Health Policy at Applied Policy. Cheryl holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
