Applied Science, Inc. (ASI) is a civil engineering consulting firm that specializes in hydraulic modeling and design of water supply, sewerage, drainage, and wastewater and water treatment systems. ASI has provided these services on numerous small and large projects for municipal and private clients.  

ASI was founded in 1984 by Karen E. Ridgway.  Ms. Ridgway remains a Board member of ASI.  The firm’s employees include civil engineers, CAD operators, technicians, and support staff.    

ASI is nationally recognized for hydraulic and modeling expertise.  ASI specializes in transient modeling of tunnels, forcemains, and collection systems.  We also have extensive experience with metering, flow data analysis, and floodplain studies.  ASI takes pride in providing high quality work in a cost efficient manner.
