John Rush

John Rush is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and leadership roles within the outdoor and recreational industries. As a Senior Associate Product Manager and Product Owner at Applied Systems since August 2022, John has been instrumental in driving product initiatives. In addition, John serves as a Board Member for Peach State Kayak Anglers, overseeing the largest kayak tournament trail in Georgia, managing event logistics, and maintaining strong community engagement through social media. Previous experience includes various roles at MRI Software, where John advanced through positions such as Product Owner II for Investment Solutions and Client Manager III. Early career experience as an intern at Panhandle Outdoors provided foundational skills in media production. John holds a degree in Communication from Auburn University, earned in 2013.
