Shakia Travis

Shakia Travis has extensive experience in management and implementation services, currently serving as the Manager of Implementation Services at Applied Systems since July 2012. In this role, Shakia oversees multiple team managers and plays a key role in the implementation of software products for insurance brokerages, ensuring effective service delivery and client training. Shakia also maintains project metrics, leads cross-departmental meetings, resolves client issues, and communicates feedback to internal teams for product improvement. Prior to this, Shakia held various roles at Applied Systems, including Product Specialist and Accounting Support Technician, and gained additional experience in customer service and admissions at organizations like Nordstrom and Career Education Corporation. Shakia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Personal/Financial Services Marketing Operations from Old Dominion University and is currently a JD candidate at DePaul University College of Law.
