Sonya Petkunas

Sonya Petkunas is an experienced professional with a strong background in enterprise applications and agile methodologies. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Applications at Applied Systems since March 1998, Sonya has also held positions including Senior Manager of Enterprise Agility & Tools, Manager of Scrum Process, Team Manager for Scrum Masters, Scrum Master, and Quality Assurance Supervisor/Manager. In addition to the role at Applied Systems, Sonya has been a Market Partner at MONAT Global since December 2018. Sonya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University and an Associate’s degree from Kankakee Community College. Sonya is certified as a Certified Scrum Professional-ScrumMaster (CSP-SM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and holds an Associate in Insurance (AINS) designation.
