Ryan Hooper

Ryan Hooper is a Materials Engineer with extensive experience in materials science, having served as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Florida from 2011 to 2015 and as an Undergraduate Researcher from 2010 to 2011. They worked at Dynetics, Inc. as a Materials Engineer from 2015 to 2017, holding various managerial positions within the Materials Science and Technology Development Branch. Currently, Ryan is the Director of Advanced Materials at Applied Technology Solutions, Inc., which they began in 2025. Ryan holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida, where they also earned a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field, along with a minor in Business Administration.
