Justin Smith

Justin Smith, FCAS, is a credentialed casualty actuary with over 12 years of experience in workers' compensation pricing, reserving, regulatory filings, reinsurance, training, and leadership. They currently serve as an Actuarial Manager at Applied Underwriters and previously held the position of Director of Actuarial Services at AF Group, where they managed various pricing projects and advised underwriters on actuarial considerations. Justin began their career as an Actuarial Intern at Nautilus Insurance Company and also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northern Arizona University. They hold a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics from Northern Arizona University.
