Patrick Long

Patrick Long has over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on reducing costs and increasing readiness. Patrick currently serves as the Director of Innovation at AppliedEA, where they lead teams in performing operations analysis, support, and simulation to optimize support structures, re-supply strategies, manpower, and readiness-based sparing and support resources.

Long began their career in aviation as an engineer with 4M Research, Inc., where they quickly rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Aviation Programs. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of 4M's aviation business, including engineering, production, and support.

In 2017, Long joined AppliedEA as Vice President. In this role, they oversaw the company's operations, including engineering, sales, and marketing. Patrick also played a key role in developing AppliedEA's innovation strategy, which has led to the company's success in developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions to its clients.

Under Long's leadership, AppliedEA has become a leading provider of artificial intelligence, optimization, and simulation solutions to clients in the aviation, defense, oil and gas, and power generation industries.

Patrick Long has a MBA from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Patrick also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from The University of Alabama in Finance. In addition, they have certification from the US Army in CH-47 Instructor Pilot, CH-47 Maintenance Test Pilot, and MH-47G Maintenance Test Pilot. Finally, they have certification from Scrum Alliance in Scrum Master.
