Amit Rokach

Amit Rokach has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Amit started their career at Deutsche Telekom Research Labs as a backend and ML developer from August 2013 to January 2015. Amit then worked at the IBM Cyber Security Center of Excellence as a graduate student researcher from March 2015 to January 2017. From March 2017 to the present, Amit has been a full-stack developer for an undisclosed company, where they have extensive experience in backend and frontend development, including languages such as JS, HTML5, CSS, Angular, Node.js, Kotlin, and Java. Amit joined Wix.com in July 2018 as a software developer and was later promoted to the role of Research Development Team Lead in February 2022. At Wix.com, Amit navigated complicated product and business requirements, constructed solution architectures, and led a team of skilled developers in building CRM tools. Finally, Amit is currently working as a backend developer at Applitools, starting in May 2023.

Amit Rokach completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, starting in 2010 and ending in 2014. Prior to that, they attended Ort Zimetbaum, Arad from 2001 to 2004, where they majored in Physics and Chemistry. Amit then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, specializing in their field of interest, at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2014 to 2017.
