Andrei Plakhota

Andrei Plakhota has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Andrei most recently worked as a Software Support Engineer at Applitools since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Support Engineer at Fireblocks from October 2020 to July 2021.

Before transitioning to the technology sector, Andrei worked as a Software Developer at BMC Software from February 2020 to June 2020, gaining expertise in languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, Shell, Batch, and Perl. During their tenure, they contributed to the maintenance and development of Control-M installation component, wrote Python automation scripts for source code analysis, and created install/uninstall scripts.

Andrei began their career as a Full Stack Software Development intern at InfinityLabs R&D, where they worked from April 2019 to January 2020. Before that, they served as a Network Support Specialist at Bezeq The Israel Telecommunication Corp., Business Division, from July 2017 to April 2019.

Andrei's work experience also includes a stint in the military. Andrei served as a Staff Sergeant in the Military Intelligence division of the IDF from August 2007 to August 2010, earning an honorable discharge.

Andrei Plakhota began their education in 2011 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued a field of study in Physical Therapy/Therapist. Andrei completed their studies in 2015 but did not mention earning a specific degree. Subsequently, in 2021, Andrei enrolled at The Open University of Israel to study Computer Science. Andrei is expected to graduate in 2025.
