Sergio Merelo

Sergio Merelo is the Power End Market Director at Applus+, where they focus on renewable generation sectors such as solar, wind, and hydrogen, while also managing conventional energy markets. They lead a global business development team to implement growth strategies and optimize operational costs through innovative technologies. Previously, Sergio held roles including International Business Development Manager for both the Norcontrol Division and the Industrial Unit at Applus. They also have experience as R&D Manager and Mechanical Supervisor in the energy sector. Sergio holds a Master’s degree in Electronics from Universitat Ramon Llull and completed a management program at IESE Business School.
