Applus+ 3C Test is one of the UK’s leading EMC and environmental testing laboratories, delivering high‑quality testing services across automotive, aerospace, defence, commercial, and wireless products. Based in Silverstone, our facilities include large 10 m semi‑anechoic chambers with reinforced flooring, enabling EMC validation from component and sub‑system level through to complete systems and vehicles, as well as testing of large and heavy equipment.

Our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories provide EMC and environmental testing aligned with internationally recognised standards and regulatory requirements. Capabilities include EMC testing for automotive and wireless products, ATEX equipment and industrial applications, as well as specific accreditations and approvals supporting automotive and aerospace & defence programmes, including MIL‑STD‑461, DEF STAN 59‑411, MIL‑STD‑810, RTCA DO‑160 and DEF STAN 00‑035. Environmental testing covers vibration and shock, temperature and humidity, thermal shock, salt fog and altitude. Battery testing includes UN DOT 38.3 and UN ECE R100.
