Kiyan Parham

Kiyan Parham is a Senior External Environmental and Sustainability Engineer at Moreld Apply, specializing in Best Available Technique (BAT) assessments, environmental budgeting, and emission calculation tool development since October 2021. Previously, Kiyan served as a Renewable Energy Analyst at Cegal, focusing on renewable energy market analysis and identifying investment opportunities. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Stavanger, Kiyan explored combined energy systems and smart grids to promote smart city advancements. Prior experience includes another Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Università degli studi Roma TRE, where Kiyan investigated concentrated solar energy receivers and thermal storage for sustainable applications. Early career experience includes a Lecturer position at Eastern Mediterranean University, teaching energy systems and thermodynamics. Kiyan holds a PhD in Mechanical/Energy Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University.
