Mike Allcott

Mike Allcott, PhD, serves as the Senior Director of Engagement and Partnerships and Director of ApplyProof Partnerships at ApplyBoard since January 2020. In addition, Mike is the Founder and Principal of Avenir Intercultural, focusing on the development of intercultural competence essential for postsecondary institutional sustainability and diversity. Previously, Mike held the position of Dean, International at Sheridan College from February 2017 to August 2019, managing a team of over 30 and overseeing the recruitment of more than 7,500 international students. Prior roles include Director of the Trent International Program at Trent University and Associate Director of the International Center at the University of Utah. Mike's academic credentials include a PhD in English Literature from the University at Buffalo, complemented by degrees from the University of Utah and a certificate from the University of Cambridge.
