Isaac Cheung has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Isaac started their career at Starvision as an Embedded Software Engineer in 1999. Isaac then joined Convedia Corporation as an Embedded Software Engineer from 2000 to 2004, and later became an Embedded Software Team Leader from 2004 to 2006.

In 2006, Isaac joined RadiSys Corporation where they first worked as an Embedded Software Team Leader until 2009. Isaac led a team of software engineers in developing platform software, Linux device drivers, and kernel features. Isaac also maintained software development toolchains and build systems to support multiple hardware targets and operating systems. Isaac then transitioned to the role of Engineering Manager, where they managed various teams and projects. Isaac oversaw the development of new features for the Radisys Media Engine product line, including the next-generation platform with blade-level redundancy. Isaac also managed infrastructure projects that upgraded the product from IPv4 to IPv6 and migrated the software from a proprietary chassis-based platform to generic Intel-based COTS hardware.

After their time at RadiSys Corporation, Isaac joined HCL Canada in 2015 as a Software Development Manager. In this role, they managed multiple teams of software engineers located in Canada and India. Isaac was responsible for providing OAMP and High Availability functions for the Ericsson 8000 Family Smart Service Routers and Calix E9-2 Intelligent Edge System. Isaac successfully rebuilt the India team to improve overall team productivity and collaborated with project managers, system architects, and other product development teams globally.

Most recently, Isaac Cheung joined AppNeta by Broadcom Software in 2018 as an R&D Software Manager, where they are currently employed.

Isaac Cheung completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria from 1994 to 1999.
