Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith has a diverse work experience starting in 2004. Joshua worked as a Junior Network Security Engineer at Loyola College in Maryland from August 2004 to May 2007. Then, they became a Network Engineer at Loyola University Maryland from August 2008 to July 2011. After that, Joshua joined AccessIT Group as a Security Engineer in July 2011 and worked there until June 2021. During their time at AccessIT Group, they also held the role of Regional Director of Tech Services from April 2016 to June 2021. In 2021, they joined PreSales Collective as a Member and subsequently joined AppOmni as an Alliance Solution Engineer. At AppOmni, they worked on securing SaaS applications and managed strategic alliances related to technology solutions. In 2023, they joined Partnership Leaders as a Member. Throughout their career, Joshua has gained expertise in network security, infrastructure technologies, and SaaS security management.

Joshua Smith obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Loyola University Maryland, from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Value Based Selling from PreSales Collective in April 2021, Security Specialist from Trailhead in February 2021, and DemoPoint Rising star from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in October 2020. Joshua also holds certifications such as Certified PS Engineer and Check Point Certified Troubleshooting Administrator from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., attained in October 2020 and July 2020 respectively. Joshua has also obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2019, Check Point Certified Security Expert CCSE R80 from Check Point Software Technologies in June 2020, and CloudGuard IaaS Specialist in Public Cloud Administrator and Public Cloud Expert from Check Point Software Technologies in November 2018.
