Jim Danford

Jim Danford has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Jim currently holds the position of Sr. Vice President Global Sales at Apposite Technologies starting in July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Consultant/Sales Advisor at Interra Systems from May 2023 to July 2023, helping to develop the market for their Orion family of Digital Video Monitoring Solutions. Before that, they served as a Consultant/Sales Advisor at Skreens Entertainment Technologies from March 2023 to July 2023, where they contributed to bringing their innovative video platform to the Service Provider community.

From 2009 to 2022, Jim held the position of Vice President US Regional Sales at Telestream, overseeing regional sales teams and serving primary customers including MSOs, Telcos, Online Video Providers, CDN Providers, Broadcasters, and Direct to Consumer/OTT Content Providers. Their responsibilities included promoting Telestream's Vantage, Lightspeed Live Capture/Stream, and IQ Solutions video monitoring systems.

Earlier in their career, Jim worked as an Area Sales Director at VeriWave, Inc. from 2007 to 2009 and at Spirent Communications from 1996 to 2007. Jim began their career as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Racal Milgo in 1987 and later worked as an Engineering Manager at Wandel & Goltermann, Inc. from 1991 to 1996. Jim also has experience as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff at Alcatel from 1989 to 1991.

Jim Danford attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science.
