John Sutherland

John Sutherland has had an extensive career in the energy industry, holding various leadership positions. John started in 1991 at Brooklyn Union Gas, where they served as Director of Governmental Marketing and later Director of Commercial and Industrial Sales. John then moved on to Keyspan Energy Services as Vice President of Operations. Subsequently, they joined Hess Corporation as Director of Products and Programs and later as Director of Hess Small Business. John continued their career at Direct Energy, where they held roles such as Head of Demand Management and VP/Head of East Power. Prior to joining their current position at Approved Oil Company as Senior Vice President of Sales, they were at Rise Energy Services, LLC in the same role.

John Sutherland holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus.
