Ben Greatorex

Ben Greatorex has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ben has worked in various roles in different companies. Their most recent position was at Appsbroker Ltd, where they served as the Training and Information Security Lead. In this role, they managed the information security system, conducted external audits, and developed an internal audit program. Prior to Appsbroker Ltd, Ben worked at North Somerset Enterprise and Technology College as a Computing Teacher, where they developed a curriculum for A-Level computing and taught students at various levels. Ben also worked at Patchway Community College as the Head of Department for ICT and Computing, where they taught and developed new courses. In addition, Ben served as the Deputy Head of Post 16 at City Academy Bristol, teaching and delivering a wide range of qualifications. Ben also worked as an English and Math Teacher at BUNAC and held multiple roles at Orange, including Voice Services Engineer and Graduate Telecoms Engineer. Throughout their career, Ben has gained experience in various areas such as teaching, information security, and technical operations.

Ben Greatorex earned a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Swansea University from 1996 to 1999. In 2004 to 2005, they attended Sheffield Hallam University and obtained a PGCE in Information and Communication Technology. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Google Analytics IQ and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, both obtained from Google in 2018.
