Joanne Futter

Joanne Futter has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and education. Joanne currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at Appsbroker Ltd since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Data Scientist at Toumetis from July 2020 to August 2021. Joanne has also worked at OVO, where they held the positions of Data Scientist from July 2019 to July 2020 and Insight Analyst from April 2015 to July 2019. Joanne gained experience in statistical analysis as a Statistical Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence from May 2013 to April 2015. Additionally, they started their career in education as a Mathematics Teacher at Worle Community School from September 2011 to May 2013.

Joanne Futter completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Joanne has obtained various certifications in the field of machine learning and deep learning. These include certifications such as Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Professional Machine Learning Engineer. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Coursera and Google Cloud, with the most recent certification being the Professional Machine Learning Engineer, obtained in September 2022.
