Michael Darcy

Michael Darcy has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Michael currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at Appsbroker Ltd since May 2022. In this role, they specialize in Agile & Scrum frameworks and works on Cloud Migration and Digital Transformation projects.

Prior to their current position, Michael worked at Procter & Gamble as an Information Technology Manager from June 2017 to May 2022. Here, they were responsible for leading development teams, utilizing DevOps, and managing complex projects in SAP & Cloud-based solutions.

Before that, they were a New Business Project Manager at DXC Technology from November 2016 to June 2017. Their role involved managing various aspects of the new business process, including IT infrastructure and application management, as well as cost modeling and revenue forecasting.

Michael began their career as a Business Analyst at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in January 2013. During their time at HPE, they also served as a Programme Finance Lead, PMO Support, Configuration Management Analyst, and Change & Release Co-ordinator. In these roles, they gained experience in IT transformation, finance reporting, project management, and change management.

Additionally, Michael has prior experience as an Incident Management Analyst at Nestlé UK & I, where they provided support for financial applications.

Throughout their career, Michael Darcy has acquired certifications in Google Cloud, Scrum Master, Agile Project Management, ITIL, and has demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and IT infrastructure management.

Michael Darcy graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in International Business. Prior to attending university, they attended Baines Sixth Form from 2006 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study was noted during that time.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they acquired the ITIL Foundation certification from ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level. Michael further expanded their skill set by becoming a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) through the Project Management Institute in 2017. In 2018, Michael achieved the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. In 2020, they obtained the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, and most recently, in 2022, they received the Cloud Digital Leader certification from Google Cloud.
