Mike Smith

Mike Smith has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to information security and network engineering. Mike is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Appsbroker Ltd since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Cloud Security at FIS (Worldpay Acquisition) from August 2019 to May 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they held positions at WORLDPAY PAYMENTS, INC., including Global Head of Security Consulting and Head of Cyber Security Consulting. Before that, they worked at Citi as the Vice President - Network Engineering from 2013 to 2016. Mike was also employed at Deutsche Bank as a Network Architect from 2011 to 2012 and as a Design Engineer from 2008 to 2009. Mike Smith has also gained experience from their roles at Airbus, Cable&Wireless Worldwide, Azlan, and Azlan, where they served as a Network Security Architect, Network Designer, Cisco Consultant - Europe, and Senior Cisco Instructor, respectively.

Mike Smith has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from Coventry University between 1990 and 1994.
