Angus Thorn

Angus Thorn is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Group Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Security at BigPay since September 2022. In addition to these roles, Angus is also an Executive and Business Coach at Angus Thorn Coaching, focusing on empowering young leaders and Startup Founders to achieve their personal and business goals. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, Angus has held various leadership positions, including Head of Security Operations for APAC at Crypto.com and VP of Trust and Safety & Business Information Security Officer at Bukalapak. Angus's tenure at Horangi Cyber Security saw significant advancements in cyber services, while prior roles included system and security engineering for the Department of Defence of Australia. Angus holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tasmania and completed the altMBA in 2020.
