Jinwei (Eric) Wu has a strong background in research and software development. Jinwei (Eric) started their career as a Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in 1999. Jinwei (Eric) then worked as a Research Scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2002 to 2005. After that, they joined Interferometrics Inc. as a Research Scientist from 2005 to 2007. Jinwei (Eric) then transitioned into web software development and held the role of Sr. Web Software Developer at AcuSys, Inc. from 2007 to 2013. Jinwei (Eric) was promoted to Lead Web Software Developer at AcuSys, Inc. and held that position until 2017. Finally, they joined Appsential in 2017 as a Sr. Software Engineer.

Jinwei (Eric) attended the University of Science and Technology of China from 1992 to 1995. Subsequently, Jinwei continued their academic journey at The Australian National University, where they undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics. Jinwei (Eric) completed this program from 1996 to 1999.
