Ido Faran

Ido Faran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Ido is currently serving as the Software Group Lead at AppsFlyer, leading a team of 20 software engineers across backend, full-stack, and QA roles. Prior to this, they held the position of Software Team Leader at AppsFlyer, where they led a team of 8 software engineers and 2 QA engineers, working on various technologies such as Go, AWS Cloud, Neo4j Graph DB, and GraphQL.

Before joining AppsFlyer, Ido worked at Cylus as the Director of Product, leading the cybersecurity B2B product lifecycle with a team of 14 engineers and a UX/UI designer. Ido also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Cylus, where they designed and developed the company's security solution for the railway industry.

Ido's earlier work experience includes their time at Israeli Military Intelligence, where they held the role of R&D Team Leader, leading a team of 10 members and overseeing the development of key projects. Ido also worked as a Software Engineer at the same organization, focusing on research and development of high-performance security solutions.

Ido began their career as a Software Developer at EZShift - Scheduling Software, where they gained experience in full-stack development of web applications for employee work shift scheduling and control.

Throughout their career, Ido has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise in various programming languages and technologies, and a focus on creating top-notch SaaS experiences and cybersecurity solutions.

Ido Faran is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2019. In 2012, they completed their Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Applied Mathematics, also at Bar-Ilan University.
