Prashant Sachan

Prashant Sachan has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Prashant is currently the Founder of AppsForBharat, a position they have held since November 2020. Prashant is also an Angel Investor at Indian Startups, starting from November 2020.

Prior to their current roles, Prashant was involved with Trell as a Co-Founder from June 2016 to June 2020. Prashant also worked as a Senior Product Designer at Microsoft from June 2015 to July 2016, and at Samsung R&D from August 2014 to April 2015.

Prashant's earlier experiences include being a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from July 2012 to June 2014, a Research Intern at Informatica in 2014, and a Research Intern at IBM Research - India from May 2013 to October 2013.

Outside of their corporate experiences, Prashant has also demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills. Prashant operated as a Sole Operator for a Customized T-shirts, Souvenirs & Accessories business from June 2009 to June 2012. Additionally, they founded Utthaan, a community project focused on teaching underprivileged children in Kanpur from February 2011 to May 2012.

Prashant Sachan completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, starting in 2008 and graduating in 2012. Prashant then pursued a Master of Design degree in Interaction Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, starting in 2012 and completing it in 2014.
