Alexandros K.

Alexandros K. has a diverse work experience that spans over many years. Alexandros began their career in 2006 as a Scientific Consultant at Water Safety Corporation and worked there until 2016. In 2016, they joined Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon as a Research Collaborator for one year. In 2017, they moved on to Ionian University as a Research Associate and is currently still employed there. In 2018, Alexandros joined EWORX S.A. as a Lead Data Scientist and remained in that role until 2022. Most recently, in 2021, they became a R/Shiny Developer - Data Science Consultant at Appsilon.

Alexandros K. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Astrophysics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2001 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics and Technological Applications from the National Technical University of Athens, where they studied from 2007 to 2009.

Later, Alexandros pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2010 and 2014.

Additionally, Alexandros has obtained various certifications including Introduction to Genomic Technologies from Coursera in April 2023, Statistical Learning from Stanford University in October 2018, and Practical Machine Learning, Statistical Inference, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and Introduction to Music Production, all from Coursera between 2016 and 2017.
