Oriol Senan

Oriol Senan's work experience includes being a R/Shiny Developer at Appsilon since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Consultant in data science from January 2018 to November 2020. In 2020, they also had a role in R & Shiny Programming at WorldCover from April to July. From 2013 to 2017, they pursued a PHD at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where they worked on projects related to classification, interpretation, and prediction of biological data. During their time at the university, they also served as an Assistant Professor for several courses. In 2012, they worked as a Research Staff at IRB Barcelona, analyzing exome sequencing and microarray data to investigate Alzheimer's Disease.

Oriol Senan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Universitat de Lleida between 2005 and 2009. Oriol then pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2009 to 2011. After completing their Master's degree, Oriol went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, which they completed between 2013 and 2017. In addition, they obtained the Cambridge First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in December 2004.
