Subrata Dey has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. Subrata started their career as a Jr. Software Engineer at REVE Systems. In 2016, they moved to iPay Systems Ltd. as a Software Engineer where they designed and developed the software architecture of the payment system, maintained data consistency in Micro-service architecture, designed fail-safe REST API, and exploited resource locking and transactional behavior of Database. Subrata also lead a team of 5 people. In 2019, they joined Brac Bank ltd. as a Manager in the Application Development & Enterprise Systems department under the Technology division. Subrata'scurrent role is Software Engineer (Backend) at Appsmith, which they began in 2022.
Subrata Dey holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, which they completed between 2009 and 2014.
