Derek Li

Derek Li is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer success and digital transformation across various industries. Currently serving as the Regional Vice President of Customer Success for APAC & India at Apptio, an IBM Company, since May 2017, Derek leads a team of Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, Advisors, and Consultants, focusing on the success of Technology Business Management and FinOps. Previous roles include Digital Transformation Program Lead at the University of Sydney, Global IT Strategy & Innovation Director at WorleyParsons, and positions in Program & Project Portfolio Management at Commonwealth Bank. Derek began a career in management as a Program Manager at Access IT Services. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Information Systems from UNSW and secondary education from Normanhurst Boys High School.
