Evan Ricks

Evan Ricks is a Senior Software Development Engineer at Apptio, an IBM Company, with a career that includes roles as Software Development Engineer II and Software Development Engineer I since January 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate/Undergraduate Research Assistant at Western Washington University, where contributions involved teaching Java and web development, automating grading, and implementing deep neural networks for protein mutation predictions, resulting in a published manuscript in the journal Molecules. Additional experience as a Web Designer included enhancing website usability for over 4,000 active users and leading the development of a modular style guide.
