Jonas Fox

Jonas Fox is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and hardware oversight, currently serving as Senior Director of Hardware at Apptronik since May 2017, with a focus on the Apollo hardware system. Previous roles at Apptronik include Director of Mechanical Engineering, overseeing humanoid and manipulator technologies, and Lead Mechanical Engineer, leading the development of advanced robotic systems, including a 24 DOF exoskeleton and bipedal humanoid robot. Prior experience includes positions at The University of Texas at Austin as Research Engineer II and Lab Manager for ReNeu Robotics, where Jonas contributed to multiple exoskeleton projects, and various research assistant roles, developing mechanical components and conducting cost analyses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Reed College.
