Tom Knight

Tom Knight is an experienced AWS Senior Consultant at Appvia since July 2024, focusing on enhancing customer onboarding and the cloud platform experience for government departments using AWS and Terraform. Prior to this role, Tom served as a Senior Cloud Systems Developer at Cloudreach from June 2019 to July 2024, where responsibilities included maintaining and improving infrastructure for significant government digital services. Tom's extensive background also includes positions at University College London, where as a System Administrator and later as Biosciences IT Manager, essential support was provided for researchers and educators, alongside deploying JupyterHub for Python programming. Earlier roles include Unix Manager at Imperial College London, System Administrator at King's College London, and System Administrator at Optimus Group Ltd. Tom holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of East Anglia.
