Vanessa Lu

Vanessa Lu has extensive work experience in project management and customer advocacy. Vanessa most recently worked as a Space Director at AppWorks since 2018. Prior to that, they held the role of Project Manager at New Taipei City Computer Association from 2017. Vanessa also served as the Operation Manager at Syntrend Startup Foundation, where they planned and executed hackathons, meet-ups, and training sessions for startup in residence. Vanessa has also worked as a Customer Success Advocate at Evernote and held project management positions at New Taipei City Computer Association and SAVECOM Taiwan. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Marketing Assistant at Microsoft, Taiwan, where they conducted strategic promotions and organized events.

Vanessa Lu completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Language and Literature from National Chengchi University from 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Russian, Central European, East European and Eurasian Studies from the same institution, which they completed from 2005 to 2011.
