Tessa Mero has worked in the tech industry since 2011. Tessa began their career at K2 Sports as a Web Developer/Systems Developer in 2011. Later that same year, they took on the role of Website Support Tech at OSTraining. In 2012, they became a Teacher's Assistant - Web Development at Edmonds Community College. In 2013, they joined Edmonds Community College as a College Instructor and Curriculum Developer, teaching classes in web application development and developing a new course, CIS243 (CMS). In 2016, they moved to Cisco as a Developer Evangelist/Advocate. In 2019, they joined Cloudinary as Director of Developer Advocacy and Senior Developer Advocate/MDE Program Lead. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Head of Developer Relations & Experience at Appwrite.
Tessa Mero has an education history that includes attending Edmonds Community College from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained an ATA Web Application Development degree in Web Development & Programming. Tessa also attended Everett Community College from 2000 to 2002, studying Web Development/Psychology. Additionally, they are currently attending Central Washington University, where they are pursuing an IT Management degree in Management.
Tessa Mero also has several certifications, including an Introduction for API Users & Developers certification from Cloudinary obtained in January 2020, a Professional-Technical Education Certificate from Edmonds Community College District 23 obtained in February 2015, and a Web Application Developer certification from Edmonds Community College.
