Ankit Bansal

Ankit Bansal is a Senior Data Scientist at AppZen since March 2021, previously holding the position of Data Scientist II. Prior experience includes serving as an Analytics Engineer at Schlumberger from July 2018 to March 2021, where Ankit specialized in Market Basket Analysis, Outlier Detection, and various NLP and Computer Vision projects. Notably, Ankit developed and deployed a Contract Review Tool capable of processing contract PDFs to extract critical business clauses. Additionally, containerized applications were deployed on Google Kubernetes Engine and Docker Swarm, alongside CI/CD practices and Power BI visualizations. Early professional experience includes internships at JM Industries and RuTAG IITK, focusing on industrial engineering and rural technology initiatives, respectively. Ankit holds a Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, having studied at DS Science Academy for high school education in Math and Science.
