Yang Liu

Yang Liu is a Data Science Manager at AppZen since March 2019, serving as the tech lead for invoice line item extraction in the Autonomous AP product. Prior to this role, Yang was a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning at AppZen, where they developed and integrated various machine learning models for invoice line item extraction. They also worked as a Software Engineer, Machine Learning at Nirveda Cognition, Inc. from February 2018 to March 2019, focusing on DNN based extractive summarization models and entity recognition for mortgage contracts. Yang holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Florida.
