Bhaskar Agastya

Bhaskar Agastya has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bhaskar started their career as a Sales Engineer at Subex Systems in 1996, where they gained knowledge in test instruments and software development. After Subex, Bhaskar joined Viavi Solutions (formerly Wandel & Goltermann) in 1998 as a Sales Manager, specializing in test instruments for circuit switched networks. In 2005, they transitioned to Spirent Communications, serving as a Sales Director and Country Manager until 2017. During their time at Spirent, Bhaskar focused on optical transport testers and built strong relationships with telecom operators and network equipment manufacturers.

In 2017, Bhaskar joined Ixia as a Senior Director and Country Manager, where they played a pivotal role in transforming Ixia's brand value and establishing the organization as a leader in the network visibility and test market. Bhaskar successfully revamped the channel partner ecosystem, leading to significant growth in customer dependency. Bhaskar's tenure at Ixia ended in 2019.

In the same year, Bhaskar took up the role of Country Manager at BlastWave, where they worked until 2023. In this position, they excelled as a country manager, contributing to the company's growth and success.

Currently, Bhaskar serves as the Managing Director of ClouDepend Systems, a position they have held since 2019. In addition, they were appointed as the Vice President of Global Sales at Aprecomm in 2022. Aprecomm specializes in AI-based SaaS solutions to improve QoE for WiFi customers and provide better in-home control for ISPs.
